Our staff personally feeds and cares for each hen, even adding cheerful nest boxes to help make their home comfortable and inviting. The result is a beautiful, wholesome egg with rich, natural flavor and the nourishing quality families can feel good about serving for breakfast, baking, snacks, or any meal of the day.

Our farm-fresh eggs are available by the dozen in large and extra large sizes.

In 1986, Robert Hershey and his wife, Debbie, opened their own store in Temple and called it simply THE HARVEST to convey the harvest of delicious homemade foods they offered. As demand increased, the Hershey’s added a commercial kitchen onto their farmhouse and were able to employ family and friends. A true family-owned business. 

We grow and raise our own signature products without nitrates, fillers, or preservatives. There are Zero GMO’s, Zero Hormones, and Zero Chemicals. This results in the freshest taste, one that is natural and very healthy. Our Beef is 100% grass-fed and vegetables are organically grown. This has been our promise for over 40 years. 

Our kitchen, managed by Debbie Hershey, prepares a great variety of fully cooked homemade foods made with our beef, chicken, turkey and pork. All of our items are made from scratch using Non-GMO unbleached-unbromated flours and grains, raw sugar, sea salt, olive oil and homegrown herbs. Enjoy the taste of freshness.
